Your diary is evidence

Some eons ago I remember thinking that my diary is my private information and I could rightly complain if it was made public against my will.

Well, my notion of that has now been shattered.

How? I noticed in the latest lawsuit against OpenAI that they are forcing diary entries of Greg Brockman ( president of OpenAI ) into evidence for the lawsuit.

This violates every notion of privacy I've ever known.

So I did what I do these days to learn about anything. I asked AI. AI told me that there is basically no assurance of privacy for a diary when it comes to the US legal system.

It referred to "Federal Rules of Civil Procedure". Specifically Rule 26 and Rule 45.

All I can say is yet another reason to think and know that the US and its legal system is fucking insane.

Now you know also. And knowing is half the battle.

I shared my blog article with AI and it was like "you are reaching too far" and only went to prove my point by reiterating that communication with a lawyer is protected, but communication with your own fucking personal diary is not.

Do I even need to mention how what you talk about with AI is even less protected?
